LET US MAKE SURE

Pastors across the world are encouraging their congregations to read the Bible daily, through a daily reading plan.

Let us make sure when we read the Bible to read the entire Bible, Old and New Testament.

Let us make sure when we read the Bible that we ask the Holy Spirit to speak to us through the Word of God.

Let us make sure when we read the Bible we are not just doing our daily reading but meditating on what we read.

Let us make sure when we read the Bible we are also applying what we read.

Let us make sure when we read the Bible that we read what Scripture actually says compared to the traditions of men/churches.

Let us make sure when we read the Bible we are not skipping over, ignoring, or ‘writing off’ the Bible passages that challenge our church’s doctrine. (If you do daily Bible reading, especially of the New Testament, you will notice that your pastor/church seems to avoid/ignore/twist certain passages in the Bible. This happens in almost every single church.)

Let us make sure when we read the Bible being aware of all the commands God gives us-be, do, obey, follow.

Let us make sure when we read the Bible we do not ignore the ‘if’ and ‘conditional’ passages of the Bible.

Let us make sure when we read the Bible we share with others what we have learned.
