Pray or Mock Leaders?

It is time to get real. Many Christians have fallen into the trap of Satan by mocking, and cursing political or religious leaders

All of us can fall into this trap at times, but many turn themselves over to it.

Question

Where in the Bible does it say we are to mock and curse our leaders? Nowhere!

Jude 1:9
But even the archangel Michael, when he disputed with the devil over the body of Moses, did not presume to bring a slanderous charge against him, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!”

We Are to Pray
1 Timothy 2:1-6 “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
(Let’s get honest, maybe it is because we have not been praying enough that we have poor leaders, or we are praying amiss.)

Where in the Bible?

Where does it say to mock and laugh at the elderly?

Where does it say to mock at those who have dementia or other disabilities?

Where does it say to mock the looks of a person.

Where does it say we are to hope a leader fails because we did not vote for them?

What We Should Do?

A.  Pray that leaders will have a saving relationship with Christ.

B . Pray that leaders will submit to God.

C. Pray that God will give leaders divine strategy.

D. Pray that leaders will not implement evil policies. If they do pray that they will be made null and void.

E. Pray that God will expose corruption.

F. Pray God will bind the hands of evil leaders and remove them from power.

G. Pray God will raise up godly leaders to replace evil leaders.

Let’s Obey the Bible
Let’s pray instead of mocking and cursing.

Take Note
This post is not saying we should not condemn evil acts of evil leaders. It is not saying we should not pray for evil leaders to be removed from office. {We will have a blog on this topic.} There is a big difference between blatant evil leaders and leaders we do not like for whatever reason.
