Why Not Become a Christian-Part Two

In this podcast my friend Bobbie and I did a recap of the following objections to becoming a Christian:

Objection Number Four-Stumbling over the Bible
What do I mean by Stumbling Over the Bible? There are individuals that guest ion if the Bible is true because:
a. There are so many translations, it must have been changed.
b. There are things in the Bible that are contradictory.
c. If God is loving why in the Bible does God allow or command…
d. There are what appears to be foolish, irrational, things in the Bible.

In this podcast here was no time in 30 minutes to cover all these issues. So Bobby and I just covered the overall concept of Stumbling Over the Bible in the sense of not understanding the Bible.

A.Individuals finding the most controversial Bible verses to justify not wanting to become a Christian.taking Bible verses out of context.
B. Individuals taking Bible verses out of context.
C. Individuals having no comprehension in regard to Bible Doctrine and thus coming up with their own doctrine that is un-biblical and not what the Bible teaches.
D. Wrong interpretations leads to wrong conclusions.
E. If you have a disdain to Christianity and the bible you will come up with wrong interpretations.
F. A disdain for the Bible will lead to a wrong understanding of the Bible.
G. Expecting to have a full comprehension of the Bible, full comprehension of God. There is no God if you can fully understand Him.
