Faith Ablaze-Evan Roberts Welsh Revival

The biography of Evan Roberts. As a young man Evans prayed for 13 years for revival to break out in Wales, United Kingdom. It started with only 17 young people in a small chapel. The next week 200 people, the next few months thousands. The answer to his prayer was in 1904 with 100,000 souls coming to Christ in 60 days during the Welsh Revival.

God used Roberts to spark a revival that transformed cities, collapsed crime rates, closed bars, and even confused coal-mine horses as profanity disappeared from the miners’ lips.

Like so many others that were used by God to start revival, he was consumed with prayer and consumed for souls. Like so many others he went without sleep, without food because of his desire to reach as many people as he could. He also experienced strong persecution.

What about you and I? How serious are we to see a revival in America? Enough to pray for hours each day? Willing to give up everything for a move of God? Willing to be mocked, lied about, hated?
