Who is Quirky PreacherRichD-Introduction

Who is Richard D’Andrea Dover who calls himself PreacherRichD? There are those who know me, there are fewer that think they KNOW ME, and there are even fewer that truly KNOW ME. All that know me in any sort of way would most likely call me a little bit Quirky.

Quirky
Characterized by peculiar or unexpected traits. Unusual especially in an interesting or appealing way. Bizarre, weird, peculiar, eccentric, unusual, strange, odd, remarkable, curious. Based upon the definitions and synonyms, being quirky can be a bad thing or a good thing, or a mix of both. That would describe me.

The very fact that I am going to write some blog articles talking about myself with candidness most likely points to me being on the quirky side.

Vulnerable
One of main goals in life is to be an open and vulnerable person. That means I refuse to live with tons of secrets about my life. At one time a secretive, wear a mask, life, which was not life at all, almost took me out. I will never live that kind of life again. Thus, my life to an extent is an open book. A book some certainly do not want to read. A book that probably troubles some, certainly myself. Honestly, a book that some could use against me. So be it.

I Am Who I Am
Here is one of the most important truths about PreacherRichD. I am who I am. The good, the bad, and the ugly, hoping mostly good, that is for God to judge. Overall, I am not good at being anything more than who I am, knowing there are some things not good in me. It does not mean I want to keep my flaws, far from it, but I am not going to be a fake. Overall, what you see is what you are going to get.

The Journey
For the next several weeks I am going to be posting articles about myself. Hopefully it will answer some questions that some people have about Quirky PreacherRichD. I will be sharing some of my mindsets personality, character traits, convictions. In the midst of all of this I am going to share my flaws, remember, I am an Open Book.

Why?????
Why am I doing this? What is my goal, what are my motives? Hopefully for my friends that are confused by me will have a clearer understanding of who I am and where I come from. Hopefully I answer some questions people have about me. It helps keep me humble by being vulnerable. My biggest goal is I am hoping that by doing this somehow what I share will help others. I am hoping, this is a bold statement, that along the way there will be some who will see that my heart’s passion is to live my life lined up with the Word of God the best I know how, and they will want to do the same. If Quirky PreacherRichD can do it, they certainly can.
