Becoming a Christian to Have a Wonderful Life-Deception
Some say the reason individuals become a Christian is because they are weak and fearful and they are seeking a fairy tale life. They need a crutch like the concept of God, Jesus, and heaven to cope in life. That these individuals live in a dream world hoping to avoid life challenges by false hope of a loving god and that there is a heaven.

I will admit what is described above can be applicable to some who become a Christian. If that is the reason they are becoming a christian, they are deceived if they think on this earth that they can avoid pain, hardship, trials and tribulations by becoming a Christian, far from it. We are promised that we will have trials and tribulations on this earth, but praise God we have the Holy Spirit to carry us through these trials and tribulations.

In this podcast Bobby and I, especially I, become vulnerable about the fact that living the Christian life in no way protects you from a sinful, fallen world. Just the opposite. Life can become more challenging as we become more Christ like. We need more than a ‘crutch’ we may need a wheelchair.

A true follower of Jesus does not live live to avoid pain and suffering. Instead they embrace whatever passes through the Hands of God.
