Who is Quirky PreacherRichD-Outcasts

Outcasts of Society/Least of These
There are variety of people that some see as Outcasts of Society, the ‘Least of These’, those who Do Not Fit In the Box. This would include those who are poor, addicted, homeless, disabled, mentally ill, or any others that society or individuals ‘writes off’ which can include illegal immigrants, prostitutes, those of alternative lifestyles, those who act quirky or strange. Sadly for some individuals it can also include those who have different political beliefs than them, of a different religion than us, etc.
Reminder, God sees people differently than we do.
Ungodly Behavior/Lifestyle
There are those who fall into in the Outcast or Least of These category that may live lives that are ungodly, immoral, making choices that are very dysfunctional. They can be ‘unlovely’ type people. It can be intentional and unintentional because of the condition of their mind.
Show Love, Mercy, Compassion
It should be clear to every single Christian that we as Christ Followers should show mercy and love to every single person, as the Father and Jesus has shown mercy and love to each of us in spite of us. Jesus died for us while we were yet sinners, before we ever repented of our sins. We should show mercy and love regardless of the behavior of the individuals. If we have Christ in us we should be able to show some form of compassion toward those bound in sin regardless of their behavior.
Because we show love mercy, and compassion does not mean we condone ungodly behavior.
Ungodly Behavior of Christians
Sadly, there are many Christians that manifest ungodly behavior towards those who they disagree with, especially those who fit in their mind, the Outcasts of Society. They resort to name calling, mocking, being mean-spirited. derogatory, hateful. They show no compassion or understanding.
Condoning Sinful Behavior/Enabling
There are other Christians that blatantly wink at sinful behavior, even going as far as condoning ungodly behavior. They would call it being loving, but it is being enabling.
Balance, Balance, Balance
We all have heard of hating the sin but loving the sinner. This should be our mindset and how we relate to people rather they are saved or not. Love them as fellow human beings, but having a disdain for any ungodly behavior.
Put Yourself in Their Shoes
What if each of us would consider in our minds what it would be like to be one of the Outcasts. What if we were willing to feel what they feel. We would most likely have a different perspective or least be able to more clearly understand their situation, potentially having more compassion.
My Problem
At times because I have a compassion and able to show love to the unlovely individuals think I am condoning ungodly behavior. Far from it. I just have the grace to be able to separate people from their behavior.
At times I get very frustrated with those who are judging, condemning, hateful towards those who fall into the Outcasts/Least of These/Not Fit in the Box category. I get frustrated when they come across as they are not like those people.
Solution
At this point in my life I am willing to live my life like Jesus, being accused of eating with sinners. I also have no problem being like Jesus and calling out Pharisees.
Be Aware
Be aware if you treat people in a disrespectful manner, especially the Least of These I am probably going to call you out.
My next two topic will be on The Outcasts of Society.
