The Will of God

Bobby the Seeker and I talk about doing the will of God. Many times we think of the Big Things when we hear doing the will of God. Here is the truth, if we do not do the ‘little things’ when it comes to the will of God there is a good chance we are not going to do the Big Things.

Luke 16:10-12
¹⁰ “He who is faithful in a very little thing is faithful also in much; and he who is unrighteous in a very little thing is unrighteous also in much. ¹¹ Therefore if you have not been faithful in the use of unrighteous wealth, who will entrust the true riches to you? ¹² And if you have not been faithful in the use of that which is another’s, who will give you that which is your own?

I used simple things of an unhealthy relationship, ice cream, and split containers of champagne to talk about the will of God.

Unhealthy Relationship

I shared an over 25-year-old experience with a female co-worker to emphasize that we have choices to do what is right or to go down a path of sin. When can let temptation trip us up and go down a path of destruction, or let it trip us up but make a choice to do the right thing regardless of the circumstances. God will intervene on our behalf if we are sincere. The best choice is to not even respond to temptaton.

Ice Cream

Bobby and I talk about something as simple as ice cream and how it can become sin, How many use ice cream for comfort instead of God? is it God’s will for us to binge on ice cream or seek Him.

Champagne Becoming a Battle in the Mind

I share how seeing a big container filled with little bottles of champagne became a battle in the mind. I shared all the steps we go through when we tempted to do something that we should not. or do not need to do.
