Condemnation vs Conviction-Part Five

Condemnation comes from Satan AND will comefrom God to those without Christ, Rejecting Christ leads to eternal condemnation and punishment.
Throughout this series I have said Satan condemns and God, the Holy Spirit, convicts those who are followers of Christ. Condemnation brings hopelessness and rarely brings any positive change. There are multiple benefits that come from conviction by the Holy Spirit.
When a person is lost and does not have a relationship with Christ the Holy Spirit will convict them, reveal to them, they are a sinner in need of a Savior. If a person dies not receiving Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, they will be condemned to hell for eternity.
The Promise
The good news is there is no condemnation for those who have relationship with Jesus.
Romans 8:1
“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”
It is God’s desire that every single human being has a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. God does not want to condemn any person to hell. Instead, The proof is He sent Jesus to die for their sins and conquer the consequences of sin, death. Through the death, burial, resurrection of Jesus Christ we can have eternal life and not face the condemnation of God.
John 3:16-17
16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him.
Judgment is Coming
Once we die there is a judgment coming. The decisions we make BEFORE WE DIE determines what the judgment will be from God. We will either have eternal life or eternal punishment.
Hebrews 9:27
27 And just as it is destined for people to die once, and after this comes judgment,
Condemnation is Coming
If a person says there is no heaven and no hell so need for a Savior, they are condemned by their words. If a person says they will get to heaven by their good works, they are condemned by their words. If a person says they will get to heaven by anything but through a relationship with Jesus, they are condemned by their words.
John 12:35-37
35 The good person brings out of his good treasure good things; and the evil person brings out of his evil treasure evil things. 36 But I tell you that for every careless word that people speak, they will give an account of it on the day of judgment. 37 For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”
Decision Time
Every single person has the opportunity to decide what will be their eternity. Trusting in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior leads to eternity with Father God. Rejecting Christ leads to eternal damnation. Condemned to hell. What will be your choice?
Romans 10:9-11
9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be put to shame.”
Reminder, condemnation leads to shame, trusting in Jesus removes shame.
