There are multiple benefits that come from conviction of the Holy Spirit. Before we look at the benefits this look at the definitions of conviction.
What is Conviction?

Conviction and God’s Love
Conviction reveals to us we are sinners and we are in trouble, headed to hell. But we then find out there is a solution-Jesus died and rose from the grave so we can overcome sin and have eternal life.
Conviction and Forgiveness
When we are convicted and respond by repentance there is forgiveness.1 John 1:19
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
